a world

We might share the air, the land, the resources, the world but surely we each have our own views, life is perception.

At times i look, and see a world no other sees
the moon looks worrisome, and the sun looks blinded
i see spirits in metal structures, i see dullness in tree shadows

how come i smell stench in flowers,
and smell life from gas stations

i don't see the depth in you eyes,
i can't see your soul, your smile confuses me
and your truth stuns me

in a life of contradictions and complexity
linear paths seem unreal, and honestly is a shifty stranger
do you see what i see, do we share the same world?
